Spring is here which means Summer is on its way! It’s time to prepare for that perfect bathing suit you been eyeing out in the catalogues all winter long!

During winter, most of us go through hibernation mode, which means eat, sleep and stay warm. Now that spring is here, it’s time to shed off that winter coat and begin the ultimate Spring Detox.

During this Detox you say:

YES to Vegetables, Fruit, Nuts, Water, Fresh ORGANIC OR Local produce.

NO to Sugar, Caffeine, gluten, Dairy, Soy, Eggs, Peanut, Acritical Sweeteners.

The most important recommendations are smoothies, not eating after 7 pm, keeping dinner smaller than breakfast/lunch and Yoga.  However, if you drink a lot of coffee or have a lot of sugar intake during the week, we recommend that you take a week to wean off prior to the detox.  Gymnema is the key during the detox session. As this will help with food cravings, appetite and help regulate the blood sugar. Leaving you feeling great during your detox.

Day 1 – 2 and 6 – 7

  • Between 7:00 – 8:00: Smoothie (Vegetables and Fruit)
  • Between 10:00 – 11:00: Snack
  • Between 12:00 – 13:00: A light lunch
  • Between 15:00 – 16:00- Snack
  • 18:00 – 19:00: Smoothie

Day 3 – 5

  • Between 7:00 – 8:00: Smoothie (Vegetables and Fruit)
  • Between 10:00 – 11:00: Snack
  • Between 12:00 – 13:00: Smoothie
  • Between 15:00 – 16:00- Snack
  • 18:00 – 19:00: Smoothie

  • ½ a Banana or ¼ Avocado to make a creamy base

  • Chard

  • Celery
  • Parsley
  • Mint
  • Add a handful of Hemp seeds, Almonds or walnuts
  • Water to desired consistency or coconut water
